The netbook Info Portal is an initiative of the Department of Interactive Media and Educational Technology at the Danube University of Krems which aims to scientifically reflect the use of netbooks in education. Why does this portal exist? The netbook Info Portal shall create
an open space for discussions and information exchange related
to the use of netbooks in education. It is a forum for researchers
to post new ideas and findings related to the subject and a platform
for schools and practicioners to discuss and debate issues that are 
relevant to their daily needs. Finally, it shall also serve as a
portal for anyone interested in the subject and searching for
relevant information and ideas.
